How to make your first meme show in ten minutes

From an empty page to a published meme show: sign in, describe a scene, cut a pilot, name it and publish. Every step, with what it costs.

How to make your first meme show in ten minutes

You don't need a script, a storyboard or editing software. You need one idea and about ten minutes. Here is the whole path, from nothing to a show anyone can watch.

1. Sign in and get a few credits

trololo.tv signs you in with a wallet — Phantom, Robinhood Wallet or MetaMask. Nobody here ever asks for your keys.

Making clips costs credits. One credit is 1 USDC on Solana or 1 USDG on Robinhood Chain, and the prices are simple:

  • a 5 second clip: 0.80 credits
  • a 10 second clip: 1.60 credits
  • a 15 second clip: 2.40 credits
  • a picture: 0.10 credits

Publishing is free. A first show of three short clips costs less than a coffee. The full list is on the pricing page.

2. Describe your first scene

Press the gold + in the menu. You'll see a box: write the scene there.

Write it like a tiny script: who is in it, where they are, what they do and what they say. For example:

A pigeon in a tiny yellow hard hat stands on a rooftop at sunrise, holding a clipboard. It taps a loose roof tile with its beak, shakes its head and says: "This is a disaster."

Pick a length — 5, 10 or 15 seconds — and press Generate. Short is fine for a first try.

3. Watch it land on the timeline

The Pilot opens straight away. Your clip appears on the timeline as a placeholder and fills in when it's ready, usually within a couple of minutes. You can write the next scene while you wait.

To add the next scene, press + next to the last clip (on a phone, New clip at the bottom). Keep the same character and place in the description so the show feels like one world.

4. Cut it

This is where it becomes a show instead of a pile of clips:

  • Trim the start and end of each clip by dragging its edges. The preview shows the exact frame where you're cutting, so you can stop right on the reaction.
  • Reorder clips by dragging them.
  • Split a clip to cut a bad moment out of the middle.
  • Mute a clip, or add your own audio track and slide it along the cut.

Three clips trimmed tight will beat ten clips left as they came.

5. Name it and publish

The top bar of the Pilot has a field that says Name your show. Give it a name — up to 80 characters, and it doesn't have to be unique. Then press Publish.

The studio puts your clips together into one video, adds a short trololo end card, and puts the show live. You'll get confetti and a link that reads like the name: trololo.tv/s/the-night-shift-pigeon.

6. Share it

Right after publishing you get buttons for X and Telegram and a Copy link; later, the Share button on your show's page does the same and adds Facebook. The link unfolds into a card with a frame of your video and its name, so it looks like something when you post it.

What to make next

  • The next episode. Same character, new situation. Start a new show from + and keep the premise.
  • A remix. Open someone else's show, press Remix, pick a scene, and make it yours.

That's it. Ten minutes, a few credits, and you have a show. The second one will be better — and the tenth one will be the one people remix.
